We offer a complete range of custody and securities safekeeping services for both businesses and individuals.

Clients can house their securities with us through two options:
  • Custody Arrangement – Securities are held in our name on behalf of the client
  • Safekeeping Arrangement – Securities are purchased/transferred in the name of the client but held by Sagicor Investments.

Our guards are well trained and equipped uniformed personnel usually detailed to protect buildings, properties, assets or people and grounds to which they are assigned.

Our guards are well trained to prevent crimes and deter illegal and inappropriate actions and report any incidents to their clients and emergency services as appropriate. The scope of their duty is extended to cover the following
  • Patrol premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure security doors, windows, and gates are properly closed.
  • Monitor and authorize entrances and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to guard against theft and maintain security of the premises.
    • Write reports of daily activities and irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.
    • Call Operations Center, Police or Fire Service in case of emergency, such as fire or presence of unauthorized persons.
    • Answer telephone calls to take messages, answer questions and provide information during non business hours or when switchboard is closed.

    Clients in this category are mostly banking and financial institutions and precious mineral marketing companies.

    This unit is charged with the responsibilities of transporting money and materials from one location to the other under heavy security escort at the request of clients who need such services.

    The scope of their duty is extended to cover the following; Vetting,Profiling,Security Awareness,Training & Infidelity investigation

    The investigation unit of GES is responsible for investigating all criminal malfeasance/ security breaches, reduce loss or crime by use of intelligence.
    The unit also designs and develops investigation processes and procedures for clients. We also investigate and analyze crime or fraud statistics. We liaise with relevant state security and international agencies on behalf of our clients.

    The department ensures the protection of sensitive information and assets in accordance with the security policy and operation standards.

    A good personnel security management requires the examination of trustworthiness and suitability of all employees to protect the employer’s interest. This process usually includes references enquiries, verification of qualifications and often, credit and criminal history checks.
    GES intelligence department conducts profiling and vetting including counter intelligence investigations.
